Description
This is the newest work by Reiko Shimizu.. The series is a disturbing manga about solving murder cases by applying the newly developed method of viewing the memories of dead people's brains. And as in every manga done by this mangaka, weird supernatural forces are of course included.

The first chapter is actually a prologue and is concentrated on the first case where this method was used. Chapter 2 is when the two main characters are introduced, so hang on!

Himitsu won the manga excellence prize of the 15th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards.

Description
Every day in Japan, 2500 people die due to any number of causes. Do you think you'll be one of the ones to die? No, of course not. Do you think you'll win the lottery? You'd like to think so, we all would. But Sumida is different. He wants the status quo to remain in every way; live a normal life, get a normal job, have normal kids, never to be anyone fortunate or unfortunate, content in normalcy. Anyone who doesn't agree is foolish, doomed to live their life scraping up a mountain that they can never conquer, fated to die in despair wishing things had been better.

When his mother kicks his father out of the house and onto the streets, he thinks he'll be fine. When his mother leaves him to live with her boyfriend, he makes the best of it. When he realizes that he's no longer average, he strives to make his life worthwhile the only way he knows how. When the demons in the back of his mind speak to him, he tries his best to ignore them.

Description

Description
When he was a child, Murakami was infatuated with a girl he called Kuroneko. She insisted on knowing about aliens and having met them, but no one believed her, even young Murakami was skeptical. One day, she decides to show him the aliens, but an accident occurs and Kuroneko dies while Murakami is left seriously wounded in the hospital.

Years go by and Murakami obsesses on finding proof of the existence of aliens because of a promise he had made with Kuroneko. Then, one day, a new transfer student comes to his class, who not only looks a lot like Kuroneko, but is named Kuroha Neko!

And even though she insists on never having met Murakami before, the girl has superhuman strength and seems to even be able to predict the future!
